Causes of heating of vibrating screen bearings
Bearings are key components to maintain the normal operation of the vibrating screen. During normal operation, the bearings should run smoothly and without noise. However, due to poor quality of the vibrating screen or unequal operation methods, the bearings are prone to heat, causing wear and even breakage. It seriously affects the normal use of the vibrating screen.
 
1. Insufficient lubrication
 
During the use of the bearing, the internal lubricating oil is gradually consumed. If the amount of lubricating oil is too small, the friction will increase during operation and generate heat. In severe cases, the bearing may be damaged. If there is too much oil, slipping problems may also occur, causing the bearing temperature to rise. Therefore, during the use of the vibrating screen, the amount of bearing oil should be checked regularly and the oil should be filled in time. When filling the oil, be careful not to fill it up and leave one third of the space.
 
2. Insufficient free clearance
 
The working clearance is an important quality indicator of the bearing and an important parameter for the normal operation of the bearing. If the working clearance of the bearing is too small, the friction torque of the bearing will increase, and a large amount of heat will be generated during operation, resulting in thermal damage to the bearing. Therefore, when installing the equipment, pay attention to adjusting the original clearance of the bearing to the standard value.
 
3. Incorrect use of lubricating oil
 
If the lubricating oil is not selected appropriately, or if impurities such as dust enter the inside of the bearing, a uniform lubricating oil film cannot be formed inside the bearing, and the effect of reducing friction cannot be achieved, causing the bearing temperature to rise. When different types of lubricants are mixed, chemical reactions may occur, causing the grease to deteriorate and agglomerate, reducing the lubrication effect. Therefore, suitable lubricating oil should be selected. If replacing other types of grease, the original grease should be cleaned first to avoid mixing different types of grease. In addition, keep the bearing seal intact to prevent dust from entering.
 
4. Bearings of poor quality or unreasonable selection
 
If after inspection it is found that the heating of the bearing is not caused by the above reasons, it is necessary to consider whether there is a quality problem in the bearing itself. The bearing rotates at a high speed during operation, and the vibrating screen feeds the bearing with a large impact load. Only when the bearing type, speed, size and other data match the vibrating screen can it work normally and stably. Once the bearing selection is unreasonable or There are quality problems such as cracks and peeling, which can easily cause the temperature to be too high during operation, or even break, causing equipment failure.
